Cannonsville Critters is a true no-kill shelter for abandoned, abused, or neglected cats and kittens. They take in unwanted cats and kittens, spay/neuter them, give them age-appropriate vaccines, and treat them for fleas, ticks, and worms. They also attend to whatever serious medical issues they may have such as dental problems and ulcerated eyes. They are a non-profit, volunteer-based rescue, with over 3,200 cats and kittens adopted through their organization. The list of items they need is below. If you’d rather make a cash donation, you can do that on their website at cannonsvillecritters.org.
Michele’s Rescue is a no kill rescue that takes in and adopts out animals from shelters all over the country. Michele is also credited with the founding of “The West Michigan Spay & Neuter Clinic of West Michigan.” Michele has been organizing events, fosters and transports throughout West Michigan and as a result saving hundreds of lives each month. She is also the founder of the annual Petapawlooza – West Michigan, an event that brings together multiple rescue organizations and vendors from around West Michigan to promote animal welfare. You can see below what they need. You can also make a cash donation by going to https://michelesrescue.com/donate
Midwest Boston Terrier Rescue is funded entirely by donations and run by the hearts of volunteers who are dedicated to rescuing Boston Terriers from shelters and individuals and finding them permanent homes. They have no shelter. The rescued Bostons are fostered in homes until they find their new loving, responsible, lifelong homes. You can see below what items they need. Little Woods Sanctuary’s goal is to provide a safe and loving home to animals in need, whether that be domestic animals or wildlife that has been injured due to human neglect and can no longer survive on their own. Everyone who comes to the sanctuary stays for their natural life, and receives routine medical care, along with any emergency or major medical that may arise. As of March 2023, Little Woods was home to three cats, eleven pigeons, nine goats, five pigs, nine chickens, two turkeys, one pony, and one mini horse.
Soulshine Wildlife Center is a rescue with a focus on rehabilitating and caring for injured and orphaned wildlife. To make a cash donation, go to their website https://soulshinewildlife.org/.
