Is your pet not feeling well? Please call Cedar Animal Hospital at 616-696-1212 so that one of our team members can gather information about your pet’s symptoms to help determine what to do next. Sometimes our veterinarians will decide to “wait and see,” and other times, you’ll be advised to come in immediately. Either way, the sooner we can assess, diagnose, and treat your pet, the better. Our team will work with you to make an informed, timely decision so that your pet recovers as quickly as possible. Here are some of the symptoms we watch for in our patients:
- Change in appetite
- Change in energy/activity level
- Hiding
- Vomit or diarrhea
- Straining or inability to urinate or defecate
- Excessive scratching or licking of the body
- Unusual lumps or bumps
- Discharge from the eyes or nose
- Limping
- Seizures
- Abnormal crying
