Sara
Assistant Manager
Sara Sackett began her work as an assistant manager (manager on duty) here at Cedar Animal Hospital in January of 2023. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology at Grand Valley State University. “Working to help those in need has always been a calling for me,” said Sara. She worked with kids with developmental disabilities for almost a decade, and when the opportunity to work with animals came along, she took it. “I didn’t think twice. I knew it would be a natural fit for me. Working to give a voice to those in need is what it’s all about for me.”
What does Sara like about working at Cedar Animal Hospital? “Cedar Animal Hospital’s staff is second to none,” said Sara. “They are professional and courteous during even some of the most challenging times. They offer an extensive list of services that are hard to find at other animal clinics, and it’s in a beautiful, conveniently located facility. Animals are the best thing ever, and being able to make a real difference to the quality of life for my own pets and other’s animals is literally my dream job.”
Why does Sara think someone should bring their pet to Cedar Animal Hospital?
“This is a team who is dedicated, caring, and passionate, and who all have a love of animals and the desire to make a difference to the animals’ lives and ensure comfort during their care. I wouldn’t recommend anywhere else and wish I had taken my pets to Cedar Animal Hospital sooner,” she said.
