Cedar Cares
Our care extends past the walls of our building. Here are some of our highlighted partners:
- Midwest Boston Terrier Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. They are funded entirely by donations and run by the hearts of our volunteers, who are dedicated to rescuing Boston Terriers from shelters and individuals and finding them permanent homes. Because they have no shelter, the rescued Boston Terriers are fostered in homes until they find their new, loving, and responsible, lifelong homes.

- Cannonsville Critters is a true no-kill shelter for abandoned, abused, or neglected cats & kittens. We started in November of 2013 in their basement, moved out to the garage, and constructed a rescue building that we call the Kitty Kabin. They take in unwanted cats and kittens, spay/neuter them, give them age-appropriate vaccines, and treat them for fleas/ticks and worms. They also attend to whatever serious medical issues they may have, such as dental and ulcerated eyes. Learn more: https://cannonsvillecritters.org/
- Pet Tales Rescue is a network of fosters and volunteers that work to find the perfect homes for animals in need. Their cats and dogs are housed in foster homes and treated like family. This gives them the advantage of getting to know the animals as individuals; once they understand their specific personalities and needs, they find them the perfect home! Giving back to our community is just another way we make a difference for people and pets.
