Kayla is a graduate of Baker College of Muskegon and began working for Cedar Animal Hospital in 2023 as a Licensed Veterinary Technician. “I’ve always loved animals and love taking care of them,” she said. “I couldn’t imagine being in any other career field.”

What does Kayla like about working at Cedar Animal Hospital?

“I love how warm and welcoming everyone is! Veterinary medicine is a tough field, so having an amazing team is key. I also love how you can see and feel how much the staff cares for animals. It doesn’t feel as though the end goal is a paycheck, but is instead helping animals, as it should be,” said Kayla.

Why does Kayla think people should bring their pet to Cedar Animal Hospital?

“Hospital visits are stressful for owners and pets,” she explained. “Cedar Animal Hospital strives to help alleviate that stress for both patients and owners. Owners can rest assured that their pet is being cared for and treated as if one of our own.”
