Kandace

Kandace joined Cedar Animal Hospital in 2017 and is one of our lead veterinary assistants. She has CNA and Medical Assistant training and is currently in the Penn Foster Veterinary Technician program. “I have always wanted a career in the medical field,” explained Kandace. “My love for animals kept me away from veterinary medicine, because I didn’t think I could handle seeing them sick and injured. After working in human medicine for eight years, I finally gave vet med a chance and will never go back. Working with animals and being able to provide them with loving care is my passion.”

What does Kandace like about working at Cedar Animal Hospital?

“It feels like my home away from home. My co-workers love animals as much as I do, and there is a great feeling of teamwork every day.”
