Ivy
Veterinary Assistant
Ivy joined the Cedar Animal Hospital team in 2022 as a veterinary assistant. She started through a work-to-school program through her high school, where she went to school for three classes then came to work to learn. “Ever since I was little, I have loved animals,” said Ivy. “Being a veterinary assistant lets me work with animals of all different species, and my team and I can make a difference with our patients. Every day there is something new to learn and do.”
What does Ivy like about working at Cedar Animal Hospital?
“I like the variety of animals we see,” she said, “including ferrets, lizards, birds, ducks, chickens, frogs, cats, dogs, and more. I love all the technology we have, and that we can run things like blood work and urinalysis in-house. I also love the staff. My co-workers are like family.”
Why does Ivy think someone should bring their pet to Cedar Animal Hospital?
“We give patients the best care possible, and we have a lot of advanced tools and diagnostics that other clinics do not,” she explained.
