Brooke joined Cedar Animal Hospital in 2022 as a licensed veterinary technician. She received her training and degree in veterinary technology from Baker College of Cadillac and is also a professor there. “I had initially gone to school for conservation biology,” explained Brooke. “I would sit at a desk for the better part of my day and not see the help I was giving animals, so I made the switch to vet med.”

What does Brooke like about working at Cedar Animal Hospital?

“My passion is in treating exotic animals and Cedar is one of the best in the area,” she said.

Why does Brooke think someone should bring their pet to Cedar Animal Hospital?

“We have a lot of state-of-the-art equipment that is rare to see in general practices,” explained Brooke, “like a CT machine, new ultrasound machine, and oxygen therapy units.”
