Dr. Taylor Cervantes
Veterinarian
Dr. Taylor Cervantes graduated from the Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018 and joined the staff at Cedar Animal Hospital the same year. “I fell in love with veterinary medicine while working at a shelter for cats with FELV (Feline Leukemia Virus) and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). I found a passion caring for those animals that usually would not be given a chance,” said Dr. Cervantes.
What does Dr. Cervantes like about working at Cedar Animal Hospital? “I love the variety of animals that we see daily, including small mammals, birds, reptiles, and cats and dogs,” she said.
Why does Dr. Cervantes think someone should bring their pet to Cedar Animal Hospital?
“We have an expansive list of diagnostic equipment and a large staff of veterinarians to get multiple opinions on a single case,” she explained.
Fun facts: Dr. Cervantes has cats and a leopard gecko. Her favorite animals to treat are guinea pigs, because they are sassy, and her spirit animal is a manatee.
