Dr. Judy Nauta

Dr. Judy Nauta, co-owner of Cedar Animal Hospital, graduated from the Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1987. She has a passion for both animals and people, and her areas of special interest include general cytology, avian and exotic medicine.

What does Dr. Judy like about working at Cedar Animal Hospital? “I love the patients, the staff, and the place,” said Dr. Judy. “I am so happy that we have built a facility that is welcoming to not only patients and their owners but to staff as well. Burnout can be high in the veterinary profession, and I am excited to be a part of helping to extend the careers of veterinary staff.”

Why does Dr. Judy think someone should take their pet to Cedar Animal Hospital?

“The staff here has a real passion for making a difference in the lives of people and their pets, and we will give them excellent care,” she said.

Fun facts: Dr. Judy has 21 chickens, 4 barn cats and 2 horses. Her favorite animals to treat are chickens and ducks, and her unusual talent is that she can wink with each eye.
